Such a friendly welcoming bed and breakfast. The owners are lovely, the rooms are beautiful, clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Huge choice at breakfast, you certainly won't leave hungry. Delicious full English and home made conserves. I won't hesitate in stopping again next time I'm in the area.

This is a perfect accommodation to explore the cost of North Norfolk. Brian was a great host and the room is really lovely and comfortable.
Lovely place to stay. Very clean , comfortable and well laid out. Just outside Fakenham, so within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Lovely log fire in sitting room/ dining room. Very cosy.
This B&B was perfect, the rooms were nicely decorated and spotless. Hosts were very attentive to all your needs. And the free breakfast had great choices for everyone's taste. Homemade jam is a must try! Great value for money.
Had a lovely night here, made to feel so welcome by the owner who was accommodating to our plans. Comfortable beds, gorgeous breakfast, quiet surroundings, it would be a great base for exploring the area.
Really lovely b&b. Nothing too much trouble for super friendly host. Great breakfast and nice and close for Fakenham where we enjoyed a brilliant day at the races. Thank you so much for your hospitality Brian.
Arrived at the B&B with a very warm welcome to a very clean warm and modern touch country location feel. The freshly cooked breakfast was fantastic and the hospitality was outstanding. Would throughly recommend.
The location was lovely and quiet. The room and facilities were well presented and clean. The host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were able to securely store our bikes in a locking shed. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were good. Breakfast was excellent!
We visited with our friends for a pre Christmas break. The Old Wash House was everything we could wish for, lovely clean rooms, a lounge area to relax in and not forgetting Brian's wonderful cooked breakfasts which set us up for the day.
WE loved the Old Wash House. Everything was so clean and we had the use of a cosy sitting room, complete with log burner in the evening. Brian made us so welcome into his home. The breakfasts were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Brian
Everything was great 5 STAR I would highly recommend the old wash house, easily found, great location, nice and quiet, Brian and his family couldn’t do anymore for you. The rooms are very spacious, bed is very comfortable, overall fantastic stay.
My husband and I would definitely recommend, Brian and his wife were lovely very welcoming. The accommodation is spotless and breakfast is excellent. We will definitely be going again .The bungalow is ideal for people who cannot do stairs there is just one small step at the front the rest is all one level.
We stayed for 4 nights in this superb B and B. Brian and Teri are wonderful hosts - Brian cannot do enough for his guests, and got on like a house on fire with my husband. We come to this part of Norfolk regularly and will definitely return to the Old Wash House. Thanks for looking after us Brian!
This is the second time we have stayed at the Old Washhouse and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. can't fault it. clean comfortable and our hosts were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend it.
I stayed here two nights with my parents, what a lovely place and excellent hosts Both bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. Delicious breakfast, especially the homemade hedgerow jam. Thank you for a great weekend! I will definitely come again.
We were made to feel very welcome and there wasn't enough Teri & Brian could do for us. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our comfy bed and, more importantly, an extremely tasty breakfast whatever the choice!
Staying 2 nights for a wedding in the local church, delightful hosts and fabulous breakfast. Beautiful room and gardens...would have liked to stay longer. The hosts were very friendly and gave some great local recommendations.
From the minute we arrived until the moment we left we were more than delighted by everything about this B&B. We received a very warm welcome, then we were given the "house rules" which answered all of our questions and told us everything we needed to know ensuring our two night stay was a total pleasure. . The room was very comfortable, it gave us everything we needed (and more) it was also scrupulously clean and beautifully presented. Brian cooked the perfect breakfast for us each day, it was delicious, there was also a wide choice of other breakfast options, the home-made bread was the icing on the cake! We have no hesitation in awarding our first ever 10/10 for our most enjoyable stay, thank you both very much. Hope to see you again in the future.
A great B&B. A warm, welcome, a large well appointed room with a comfortable bed, all spotlessly clean. House rules "If you need anything just ask" was just the way I like it.The cooked breakfast was amongst the best I've ever had (and believe me I've had a few). If I'm ever looking for somewhere to stay in the area in the future, The Old Washhouse would be my number 1 choice.
Large well appointed ensuite double room in a lovely peaceful location. Very comfortable bed. Powerful shower. Brian and Teri were very kind and welcoming hosts who provided a superb breakfast, catering perfectly to our particular dietary needs. Brian offered to light the wood burner in the sitting room provided for the guests, which we didn't avail ourselves of on this occasion, but it is a real bonus, noted for future visits, along with the offer for guests to bring in a take-away meal and use the available plates and cutlery, plus the use of glasses if any guests wish to partake of a little wine, either with their meal, or whilst taking advantage of the garden. Highly recommend.
We booked 3 nights at this lovely B @ B as it was in an ideal location for our North Norfolk cycling holiday, on route 1. The hosts, Brian & Teri, were very helpful with advice on where to eat and cycling routes. The accommodation was excellent, including a communal lounge - nothing was too much trouble. Snacks provided every day, tea / coffee making facilities in each room and a good choice for breakfast. We would recommend this B & B without any reservations.
